Carrie Shelver e Antje Schupp uniscono strategie creative di protesta e performance. Nel loro progetto \u00abThis is not theatre, this is a f*** protest!<\/a>\u00bb<\/strong> indagano quali siano gli effetti che produce l\u2019incontro tra un\u2019attivista politica creativa e un\u2019artista creativa che si interessa di politica: che cosa succede quando i loro saperi si uniscono? Insieme si interrogano su una questione e si chiedono se e in che misura si possa mettere in scena una ribellione e in che modo si possano far confluire nell\u2019arte le strategie di protesta. Ne pu\u00f2 forse scaturire un evento in grado di confondere i confini che separano la \u00abperformance\u00bb dalla \u00abprotesta\u00bb? Il pubblico diventa attore e lo spettacolo si trasforma in un workshop che alla fine potrebbe anche sfociare in… protesta. Il terzo \u00abcomplice\u00bb \u00e8 lo scenografo Christoph Rufer che fa del processo creativo una vera e propria esposizione artistica.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carrie Shelver <\/strong>\u00e8 una femminista che da oltre vent’anni si impegna attivamente in difesa dei diritti umani. \u00c8 una pensatrice creativa che adora la sfida e ama trovare nuove soluzioni a problemi ormai noti. Tra le altre cose, si \u00e8 occupata per un lungo periodo del tema della violenza di genere lavorando in Sudafrica e in altri paesi dell\u2019Africa meridionale, tra cui lo Zimbabwe, l\u2019Angola, il Malawi e il Mozambico. Da due anni, Carrie collabora per la Sexual Rights Initiative<\/strong><\/a>, una coalizione femminista impegnata nella difesa dei diritti umani legati al genere e alla sessualit\u00e0, nel contesto dell\u2019ONU.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antje Schupp<\/strong><\/a> \u00e8 regista, performer e autrice.  Si interessa di teatro politico e porta in scena progetti interdisciplinari, lavorando nell\u2019ambito di coproduzioni internazionali e con interpreti non professionisti. Le rappresentazioni di Antje Schupp sono salite sul palco di vari teatri, tra cui Theater Basel, Schauspielhaus Zurigo, Theater am Neumarkt Zurigo, Kaserne Basel e Staatstheater Augsburg.  L\u2019autrice ha mostrato le proprie creazioni anche in occasione di diversi festival ed eventi, tra questi: Berliner Theatertreffen \u00abShifting Perspectives\u00bb, Antigel Ginevra, Politik im Freien Theater e Impulse Theater Festival.  Inoltre, \u00e8 stata insignita del premio Festspiele Z\u00fcrich 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christoph Rufer<\/strong> vive a Berlino e Zurigo. Dal 2002 al 2006 studia Scenographical Design<\/em> alla Z\u00fcrcher Hochschule der K\u00fcnste. Dal 2005 al 2009 lavora come assistente scenografo a Berlino presso il teatro Schaub\u00fchne am Lehniner Platz, successivamente, fino al 2011, ottiene un ingaggio al Thalia Theater di Amburgo. Nel 2011 Christoph Rufer avvia la propria attivit\u00e0 di scenografo e costumista libero professionista e collabora con artisti del calibro di Lars Eidinger, Schorsch Kamerun, Johannes v. Matuschka, Anne Habermehl e Alia Luque. Intrattiene diverse collaborazioni anche con Antje Schupp, nell\u2019ambito di un ampio e poliedrico ventaglio creativo. Oltre all\u2019attivit\u00e0 teatrale, Rufer realizza i propri progetti anche come designer e architetto d\u2019interni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nell\u2019ambito della loro collaborazione, Shelver, Schupp e Rufer sono alla ricerca delle migliori pratiche con cui poter unire l’arte all’attivismo. Utilizzano metodi di lavoro di ispirazione femminista, lasciano libero spazio alla co-creazione artistica e allargano il loro sapere sul lavoro politico nella societ\u00e0 (in)civile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
